Our mission is to transform the lives of hundreds of children and young people with SEND each year by creating opportunities to take part in life-skills activities and empowering them to apply the skills they have gained in everyday life. This will help them live a more independent life, gain confidence, and reach their personal goals.
We aim to motivate children and young people to learn new skill sets and come up with many innovative ideas, to craft those ideas, and apply them in their own life.
They also have the opportunity to develop skills in creative arts, and build on their communication skills through 'hands on' and visual based learning. They can learn how to see problems from different perspectives and apply new skills to solve them.
Our classes and programs will equip them with strategies and new competencies, which they can apply in not only an educational setting but within the wider community and work based settings.
By working closely with families and services within the wider community, our programs and classes enable all participants to gain new perspectives and skill sets that aim to change the way in which those with SEND are supported within our community.
All classes are run by adept tutors and tailored to the level of each child/young person or based on the need of the family.
